The spec sheet
Keep the facts you look up most, like tire pressure, oil and fuse box location, ready in three taps and offline.
The spec sheet holds the facts you need at the pump, the tire shop or the roadside. It works offline, so it's there in a parking garage with no signal.
The tiles
Big tiles show each fact with its unit:
- Tire pressure, front, rear and spare, like "33 psi front · 32 psi rear", and the tire size.
- Oil: grade and capacity, like "0W-20 · 5.1 qt".
- Coolant, brake fluid and transmission fluid.
- Fuel type and tank size.
- Battery group and the key fob battery.
- Bulbs and wiper sizes.
- Tow rating and child-seat anchors.
Units follow Settings, then Units: miles or kilometers, psi or bar, gallons or liters.
Scan the door jamb
Most of the numbers you need are on the sticker inside the driver's door.
- Open the spec sheet and tap Scan the door jamb.
- Point the camera at the sticker. Carlore reads the text on your phone and proposes values.
- Check each one, then confirm.
The photo of the sticker isn't kept. The spec sheet notes where each value came from, like "Checked from the sticker on Sep 2".
Add or edit a spec
Tap any tile to change it, or tap Add a spec for something that isn't on the list, like the lug nut torque or the radio code. Carlore doesn't look specs up from a database. Every value is one you entered or confirmed, from your sticker, your manual or your shop.
Where to find it
The Where to find it rows keep a photo and a line for the things that are hard to find in a hurry:
- the fuse box,
- the jack and tools,
- the door-jamb sticker,
- the page in the manual you keep going back to.
Add a photo the next time you have the panel open. It saves a search later, in the rain.
Where the facts usually are
- Door-jamb sticker: tire pressures and tire size.
- Owner's manual: oil grade and capacity, fluids, bulbs and fuses. See Manuals.
- The part itself: the battery label, the old wiper blade, the coin cell in the fob.
An empty spec sheet
You'll see "Add the facts you look up most. Start with tire pressure." Tap Scan the door jamb, or Add by hand.
