Yes. Carlore Free keeps one vehicle with everything: the spec sheet, papers with reminders, service history with receipts, due by date or mileage, recall checks, the Glovebox, export and an encrypted backup to your own iCloud Drive or Google Drive. Plus adds every vehicle you own, handover packages, borrower guides, sync across your devices, household sharing and widgets.
On your phone, and in your own iCloud Drive or Google Drive, encrypted on your phone before it leaves. Carlore’s servers hold only your account: your email, how you sign in, your plan and any support messages. Never your VINs, papers or receipts.
Only what you ask for. When you decode a VIN or check for recalls, your phone asks NHTSA, the US safety agency, directly. If you turn on manual lookup, only the year, make and model go to the manufacturer’s owner-manual site, never the VIN. Nothing passes through Carlore.
Carlore suggests generic presets per vehicle type, such as an oil change every 6 months or 5,000 miles, and you edit them to match your owner’s manual. They are never a manufacturer’s schedule. Mileage estimates always say “about”, because they come from your last two readings.
No. A paper in Carlore is a copy for convenience, marked “Copy from Carlore · not a legal document”. Keep the originals your state and insurer ask for.

Yes, with the same features on both. Sign in with Apple and iCloud Drive are iPhone only; Google sign-in and Google Drive work on both, so choose Google Drive if your household uses both.

In the app, open Settings, then Account, and tap Delete account. You choose whether your garage in your own cloud is deleted too. Our account deletion page explains every option, including what to do if you can’t sign in.
